RESPECT Trial award goes to OSF and IL Neurological Institute

Congratulations to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Illinois Neurological Institute for being awarded the honor of top enrolling site in the US during the months of November 2007-January 2008 for the RESPECT Trial: Randomized Evaluation of Recurrent Stroke Comparing PFO Closure to Established Current Standard of Care Treatment.
The RESPECT Trial is sponsored by AGA Medical and is led locally by Principal Investigator David Wang, DO, Director of OSF Stroke Center & Network. There are 60 sites participating nationwide. Current cumulative enrollment data ranks Dr. Wang and his research team at #5 nationally.
