Peoria and Washington, D.C.: 800 miles apart, one voice

Terra Brockman said at the end of the march, she and her family left their signs along a fence near the White House with thousands and thousands of other signs. “As we wandered through the city afterward, we saw more signs in every small park, every traffic circle, every statue. The whole city was plastered with hand-written signs protesting the president and his policies, and expressing love for our Constitution and diverse democracy. It was awe-inspiring,” she said
