The 10th annual ALL FREE Safety of Seniors (SOS) will be hosted by the Bartonville Police Department. This is the 10 Year Anniversary of this event. This event profiveds people of all types of Safety, Health and Protective information. The event primarily targets Seniors because they’re the most vulnerable individuals.
There are 56 vendors including businesses, organizations, and agencies participating such as: banks, hospitals, social organizations, Center for Prevention of Abuse, Blind Center, Arthritis Foundation, Victim Advocates – all offering info on how to live with and even enjoy the aging process safely.
There are free give-aways and door prizes as well as blood pressure, vision and possibly hearing screenings.
Guest speaker will be States Attorney Kevin Lyons.
