Peoria Mayor and U.S. Cellular to Celebrate Network and Business Investment
WHAT: Peoria Mayor Ardis and U.S. Cellular will host an event to celebrate the company’s network expansion in Peoria . A cluster of six new cell sites will provide additional network coverage to the area and the nearby cities of Normal, Pekin , Bellevue and Marquette Heights . In addition, these new sites will provide better call quality and capacity to serve the growing number of cell phone users in the area.
The completed construction of the six cell sites is part of an ongoing effort to expand the company’s central Illinois network and adds to the extensive statewide network of more than 1,400 U.S. Cellular sites.

Dang good news. I always thought they needed better coverage. Now if they could just make it so that you had more user options on retrieved phone messages. There is no way to stop the “CALL FROM 3-0-9-… you get the drift. Just give me the message for cryin out loud! Agh. THanks for the rant
