St Jude Parish, 10811 North Knoxville Avenue -Peoria will host a Fair Trade Sale on October 17 (4:30-6:00 p.m.) & 18 (8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and October 24 (4:30-6:00 p.m.) 25(8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). The event will highlight handcrafted items made by people who earn a “fair wage” for their wonderful products. Also available will be Fair Trade Coffee/Teas and wonderful slave free chocolate from Global Village. Fair Trade products respects human dignity, promotes the common good, advances economic justice, empowers disadvantaged people and connects Central Illinois residents with the people who create things people buy that weekend.
