The Peoria Park District’s Forest Park Nature Center will host a Beginning Beekeeping class on Saturday, February 20 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The Heart of Illinois Beekeepers Association will present information on beekeeping equipment, how to get bees and start a hive, collecting and processing honey bee products, and problems bees are facing.
The session is open to ages 12 and up. There is no fee, but donations are requested. For additional information, call Janet Hart at 309-446-3004.
