For the 12th consecutive year OSF HealthCare has been ranked in the Top 100 IHNs among the nearly 600 integrated healthcare networks in the United States. Specifically, OSF HealthCare was ranked 16th by SDI, a healthcare informatics joint venture firm, as reported in the January 25th issue of Modern Healthcare. OSF is the highest ranked among all Illinois healthcare systems this time and the fifth-highest in the Midwest.

Albrecht Medical Center, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, OSF Saint Clare Home, OSF St. Mary Medical Center, OSF Holy Family Medical Center, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, OSF Saint Anthony College of Nursing, OSF Medical Group, OSF Saint Francis, Inc., OSF Home Care Services, and OSF Healthcare Foundation.
SDI* has been ranking integrated systems since 1994 and this year’s Top 100 was chosen from nearly 600 non-specialty regional integrated health networks from around the country. The rating system analyzes each IHN’s performance level in the following categories: hospital utilization, financial stability, physician participation, services and access, contractual capabilities, out-patient utilization, integration and integrated technology. The eight categories consist of thirty-three weighted attributes that SDI has determined to be the key indicators for assessing the current and future success of an IHN.
Last year OSF HealthCare was ranked 25th.
