On March 20, 2010, Senator Dave Koehler, Representative Jehan Gordon and Mayor Jim Ardis will host their second Community Call to Action forum and workshop aimed at addressing quality of life issues in our community. The forum will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, at the Dream Center, 714 Hamilton Boulevard.
The goal of the second forum will be to focus on youth issues and identify problems that impact our quality of life and brainstorm possible solutions. We will also be identifying an area of the city to serve as a community project.
We are inviting the community to serve as knowledgeable resources in your respective fields at this event.
In addition to generating new ideas, we hope that this Community Call to Action will institute a renewed effort on behalf of Peoria citizens and community leaders alike to make positive interventions in the lives of our young people. We hope you will join us and take action.
