Join us from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 for a fundraiser to benefit the Backus Home Makeover at Toaster’s Tap, 1300 E. Sciota in Peoria Heights. The benefit is being held to raise funds to buy supplies for the home makeover. A pulled pork sandwich and chips will be $5 and prize drawings will take place throughout the day.
The Backus Home Makeover is a project started by Peoria Heights High School alumni to help a Peoria Heights family going through a transition after the death of their husband/father. Volunteers will be making home renovations such as painting, flooring, and other projects to the family home on March 27 and 28.
