The Peoria Park District hosts “The Magician’s Workshop,” an upcoming class for kids between the ages of 9 and 16. The class meets on Saturdays, Nov. 13 through Dec. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Bicycle Safety Town.
Led by professional magician Greg Joyce, you’ll learn how to perform a wide variety of magic with playing cards, money, rope and other common items. The classic magic tricks will be reviewed, including Cups and Balls, Hot Rods and Magic Paddles, and Cut and Restored Rope. You’ll also learn mind-reading illusions, as well as several entertaining card and rope effects. Amaze your friends and family! All supplies and a class handbook are included. Class will not meet on Saturday, Nov. 27.
