The 18th Annual Partners In Peace Awards Luncheon will be held Wednesday, March 28 at noon at the Peoria Civic Center Ballroom. Individuals and groups in the community who further the vision of The Center for Prevention of Abuse, to build a safe and peaceful community, will be honored. The luncheon also recognizes volunteers from The Center for their dedication of time, talent and energy.

The keynote speaker for the luncheon is Joe Ehrmann. Joe has been an educator, motivator and coach for more than 25 years. He was an ALL-American football player and went on to play professional football for 13 years. Parade Magazine featured him on its cover, naming him “the Most Important Coach in America” because of his work in transforming the culture of sports. He was named the Baltimore Colts “Man of the Year” and for his work empowering youth to prevent violence, Mr. Ehrmann was also the recipient of the Frederick Douglas “Man of the Year Award”.
