Peoria Public Library Lincoln Branch will hold a Gala to introduce the public to the many features and services available in the newly renovated and enlarged building. on Sunday, May 20 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The public is invited to visit the beautifully restored Carnegie portion of the building with its fireplace, reading area, new glass-walled meeting rooms and new windows and doors that match the originals. Then tour the new ultra-modern 12,000 square foot addition with its computer lab, meeting room, children’s area and many reading areas.
Visit the computer lab and see what is new in Peoria Public Library databases. Find out interesting facts about Lincoln Branch and enjoy the Hot Air Balloon Children’s Room.
