State Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) will be at LifeLine Pilots to present them with a House Resolution that celebrates their work and declares April 21, 2012 at LifeLine Pilots Appreciation Day on Monday, April 16 at 10:00 A.M.
“LifeLine Pilots does amazing work not only in Illinois, but throughout the country. For over 30 years, these pilots have helped patients and families travel to specialists and hospitals across the country to get the best treatment available. Additionally, they help transport humanitarian aid when the nation is faced with natural disasters,” Gordon said. “This organization, their pilots and their volunteers show the country the very best that Illinois has to offer. I am proud to help celebrate LifeLine Pilots Day.”
LifeLine Pilots is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate free air transportation through volunteer pilots for financially distressed passengers with medical and humanitarian needs.
