Zoo To Do, a fundraising gala by Peoria Zoological Society to benefit the Power of Play campaign, will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. This special event includes gourmet dinner by Chef Josh Adams of June Restaurant, a raffle, cocktails, and live entertainment at Peoria Zoo. Animals from the education collection roam the event with their keepers, and guests have the opportunity to go behind the scenes into the night quarters for an exclusive look at what happens every day at the Zoo with its many species.
Tickets are $125 each or $250 per couple, and are available for purchase at the Front Desk/Safari Gift Shop at Peoria Zoo, online at www.peoriazoo.org, or by calling (309) 681-3500. Tables of 10 are available.
The “Extreme Makeover” Raffle includes a selection from the following prizes:
1. Home Makeover – building allowance from Noah Herman Sons ($5,000 value)
2. Play-Time Makeover – new Rainbow Play Systems “Sunshine Castle Package” (valued at $5,843)
3. Home Entertainment Makeover – home theater package and Hearth & Patio certificate ($1,000 value)
4. Jewelry Makeover – Jones Bros. Jewelers gift certificate ($1,000 value)
5. Office Makeover – Herman Miller Aeron chair (valued at $900)
6. Portrait Makeover – V Gallery portrait session and images (valued at $750)
