Gordon Brings State Leaders to Peoria to Discuss Business Climate

State Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) will be hosting a Business Roundtable with the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday, April 23 at 4:00 PM.

“Elected Officials from across the state realize that more needs to be done in order to address Illinois’ business climate.” Gordon explains, “Many times when discussions are held about the business climate they are in either Springfield or Chicago. I asked Sen. Hutchinson and Rep. Bradley to come to Peoria to make sure that local businesses have a chance to discuss their concerns well.”

Senator Toi Hutchinson is the chairperson of the Senate Revenue Committee and Rep. John Bradley is the chairperson of the House Finance and Revenue Committee. Both individuals are leading talks about the future of Illinois’ business climate, including changes to the corporate income tax.
