Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and Peoria Public Schools, District 150 are hosting the 2012 State of the Schools event Wednesday, May 2 at 7:30 a.m. at the Peoria Civic Center. Superintendent Dr. Grenita Lathan will speak about what is happening now and what’s planned for the future for District 150. This event is open to the public and tickets are available online: http://peoriachamber.org/page/state-schools. This is not only for parents and people who live in the district, it’s for anyone who’s interested in the state of our educational system.
