Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) recently spoke at Peoria’s Foster Grandparents Annual Recognition Banquet. Individuals who are part of Foster Grandparents volunteer 20 to 40 hours a week at local child care providers, including District 150 schools. Rep. Gordon thanked them for all of the work that they do in the community and recognized them for all of the support that they give to children, parents, and teachers.
