Proctor Recreation Center, a Peoria Park District facility, has scheduled a FREE event to celebrate the beginning of a safe summer for area youth. “The Streets Belong to Me” event will be held beginning at noon on Wednesday, May 30 with a Scavenger Hunt for youth ages 14 to 18 and a Pool Party for youth under age 14.
The Scavenger Hunt will consist of teams of 5 who will search for Peoria Park District related clues. One team will win prizes, including cash, iPods, digital cameras, and gift cards. Teams must pre-register by May 16 for the scavenger hunt.
The pool party will be held at Proctor Recreation Center’s swimming pool at 309 S. DuSable in Peoria. No registration is required for the pool party.
