Grade schoolers start World of Wonder next week

More than 250 first through eighth graders will spend next week taking part in Bradley University’s World of Wonder, where a wide variety of classes give participants the opportunity to explore and expand their interests and abilities.

Classes cover such subjects as Marvelous Mini Monsters, Wild, Wild West, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, Outer Space is a Weird Space, Have You Ever Met a Jellyfish, Crime Scene Investigators, Fractured Fairy Tales, Chocolatier, Dramarama, Tree Houses of the Future, and many more.

Classes are held in Baker Hall on campus between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Bradley University’s Institute for Gifted and Talented Youth has offered summer educational opportunities for Central Illinois youth since 1983. The World of Wonder is a series of one-week programs designed to provide a variety of learning options for gifted students.
