Seniors on the Go
The Hult Center for Health Education, located on Proctor Hospital’s campus, is pleased to offer its free monthly Seniors on the Go program.
The program will take place Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hult Center for Health Education on Proctor’s campus. Min-Kyu Han, MD, Illinois Eye Center, will present “Age-Related Macular Degeneration” from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., while Hong Ji, Exercise Physiologist, will address “How to Exercise Safely and Get F.I.T.T.” from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided from 11:45 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

July Coffee Connections Wellness Workshop – Free
Tuning Your Own Instrument
The Counseling Center at Proctor Hospital is pleased to offer Tuning Your Own Instrument as part of the free wellness workshop series, Coffee Connections.
Join us for a time of learning and hands-on experience as we use music to trigger your relaxation response, reset your mind, and get a little more in tune with yourself and your circumstances.
The workshop will take place Friday, July 20, 2012, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Kristiana Miner, Music Therapist at the Counseling Center at Proctor Hospital, presenting. The workshop will be held in the Proctor Professional Building Classroom 1 on the campus of Proctor Hospital.

Medicare Help Desk
Proctor Hospital is pleased to host the Medicare Help Desk on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of Proctor Hospital.
The Medicare Help Desk is a “Service in the Neighborhood for Seniors” program from BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois, which offers an opportunity to meet face to face with representatives to answer questions and provide information on Medicare and Supplemental Insurance.
Medicare Help Desk is offered the fourth Wednesday of every month at Proctor Hospital. No appointment is necessary.
