Mystery Dinner Theater at the Prairie Mills Windmill has been a popular event with sell-out crowds for three years. This fall the society will sponsor “Murder in Margaritaland” at the Mystery Dinner on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., in the newly decorated Windmill Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Somewhere in the tropics between the Port of Indecision and Southwest of Disorder you’ll find that murder meets mayhem and the intrigue begins!
While most vacation at Margaritaland, an exclusive tropical resort, to get away from their troubles, for one unfortunate soul, it will mean the end of their travels all together.
Has the lottery winner’s luck run out? Will it be the bartender who has served his last drink? Is the honeymoon over for two lovebirds before it nearly began? Or will the stars collide for one Hollywood star?
At the resort, the guilty will mingle among the guests and everyone will be left with the task of deciphering between the facts and falsehoods that plague this paradise in order to make a killer pay for their crime.
The night itself will be a criminal concoction that will have you searching for much more than your long lost shaker of salt. The play will feature a large cast of actors.
There will be wine tasting starting at 6:00 with wine provided by Village Vineyard Winery of Camp Point, IL. Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle or by the glass. The dinner will start at 7:00 p.m. with a Prime Rib dinner buffet. The mystery will begin at 7:30.
