Blasts of ice and sleet from a late spring blizzard did not deter more than 350 people on Saturday protesting gun violence and demanding action at a “March for Our Lives” rally in downtown Peoria. Across the country, there were more than 800 rallies organized following the recent massacre at a Florida High School. Hundreds of thousands marched and chanted in the United States and around the world demanding stricter gun regulations and limitations on the power of the NRA.
