The Dec. 9 regular meeting of the Peoria County Board of Elections had all commissioners in attendance but was very brief with no action items other than approving expenses.

Informational items included:

• Early voting for the March 17 primary begins Feb. 5.
• Requests for vote by mail for the primary open Feb. 2.
• Election judge training begins Feb. 2.

Red and blue vests with name tag slots have been purchased for election judges to help voters better identify judges and the party they represent.
