Ten county farm bureaus and Proctor Hospital have again partnered and are pleased to announce the 2010 Outstanding Young Farmer Award. This annual awards program supports and promotes the health, safety, community involvement and leadership of young farmers, acknowledging their achievement in agriculture.
Proctor’s Outstanding Young Farmer Award is presented in Bureau, Fulton, Henry, Knox, Marshall-Putnam, Mason, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford counties.
All nominations must be submitted no later than Monday, November 1. Nomination forms may be submitted to respective county farm bureaus or Proctor Hospital c/o Steve Wilson, Director, Communication, 5409 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria, IL 61614.
The individual farm bureaus will select an Outstanding Young Farmer, individual or family, to receive a $250.00 cash award and a special certificate announcing their recognition and unique achievement.
