“Sublime Idioms,” a Masters of Fine Art exhibit by Lisa Nelson Raabe, is on display at Heuser Art Gallery (1400 West Bradley Ave, Peoria, IL 61625) in Bradley University’s Heuser Art Gallery now through Dec. 10.

CINEMA

Will Smith, portrays Richard Williams, father and coach of power tennis greats Serena and Venus Williams in this screen biography, opening in moviehouses Nov. 19. Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton co-star.

MUSIC

Renée Elise Goldsberry, who portrayed Angelica Schuyler in “Hamilton,” is scheduled to perform selections from that Lin-Manuel Miranda hit, plus songs from “The Lion King” and “Rent,” plus other material. Peoria Civic Center Theater. Nov. 5.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” reflects on the songwriting talents as well as the vocal gifts of the Grammy Award-winning legend, set for the Peoria Civic Center Theater Nov. 23-24.

STREAMING

Using 56 hours of never-seen footage, filmmaker Peter Jackson uncovers the behind-the-scenes story of the Beatles relationship and recording experience in “The Beatles: Get Back.” Premiering on Disney+ Nov. 25, the three-part documentary focuses on January 1969, when they played – often playfully – in the studio before performing their final live show on a rooftop set on Savile Row that Jan. 30.

TELEVISION

The 1973 classic animated special “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” returned to TV last year after a Change.org petition was started, and this season it’s scheduled to be broadcast at 6:30 p.m. on PBS Nov. 21, according to WTTW-TV and other PBS affiliates.

THEATER

Corn Stock Theatre is presenting William Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” Nov. 12-14 & 19-21.
