ART

  • The 10-foot artwork “Mars,” by U.K. artist Luke Jerram, is a highlight of “Mars: The Exhibition,” continuing in November at the Riverfront Museum. The interative display will be here through Spring.
    MUSIC
  •  Keith Urban is set to play at the Civic Center Arena on Nov. 4.
  • The Oak Ridge Boys are sceduled to perform Nov. 11 in the Civic Center Theater.
  • The Bradley Symphony Orchestra and Community Choir will perform Nov. 13 at St. Mark’s Church near campus.
  • The Peoria Symphony Orchestra will present “Joy at the Cathedral” at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, where the program will include material by Bach and Vivaldi.
  • Todd Kelly’s Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra (above) will entertain Nov. 20 at Trailside Event Center.

CINEMA

  • • Superhero pictures “The Flash” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” are getting more attention, but filmmaker Maria Schrader’s “She Said” — in moviehouses Nov. 18 — promises to be a stunning drama about how reporters helped expose sexual assault in Hollywood, arguably launching the “Me Too” movement. Out It stars Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan, with Andre Braugher and Patricia Clarkson.

COMEDY

  • • Comic Bill Burr’s “Slight Return” tour will stop at the Peoria Civic Center Arena on Nov. 5.

STREAMING

  • • The crime drama “Irreverent” is about a
    “mediator” between organized crime families forced to flee Chicago and hide as a pastor in Australia. Scheduled to premiere Nov. 30 on Peacock, the 60-minute episodes star Colin Donnell (from “Chicago Med” and “Arrow”).

THEATER

  • Broadway in Peoria presents the award-winning musical “Come from Away” — based on a real-life story of a small town in Newfoundland welcoming thousands of stranded people — Nov. 2-6 at the Peoria Civic Center Theater.
  • The classic Irving Berlin musical “Holiday Inn” will be staged at Peoria Players Theatre Nov. 11-13
    and Nov. 17-20.
  • Corn Stock Theatre’s Winter Season will feature “The Regifters” Nov. 11-13 and Nov. 18-20.
  • Bradley University Theatre will present the mystery/adventure “Hearts Like Fists” Nov. 9-13 at the Hartmann Center.

TV

  • • NBC-TV will begin the 30-minute comedy series “Lopez v. Lopez,” featuring George Lopez, on Nov. 4.
