Peoria Park District happenings for August 2014

As Central Illinois residents, we are lucky to live in one of the most diverse migratory flyways in the world called the Mississippi Flyway. Nearly half of North America’s bird species, and about 40 percent of its waterfowl, spend at least part of their lives in the Mississippi Flyway. Join us Saturday, August 2, 11 am to 2 pm to celebrate our fine feathered friends through games, activities, and up close animal encounters. Learn about the birds who call Peoria Zoo home as well as those found in your very own backyard! Regular admission will be charged – Adults 13+: $9.00; Children 3-12: $5.25; Senior Citizens: $8.00. Consider a Family Membership and you’ll receive unlimited FREE admission to the Peoria Zoo for one full year, plus other great benefits!
