This 2010 Spring Session Classes will be held in the Three Sisters Park Pavilion in Chillicothe. The ten classes of American Folk Arts are:
Pictures from the Loom: Beginning Tapestry Weaving, Copper Jewelry Making, Slab, Coil & Pinch! Pottery, Let’s Play the Autoharp, Sculpt a Garden Statue, Beginning Spinning, Dogwood Flower Relief Carving, My Quilting Quilt, Create a Native American Flute, and The Amazing Gourd Workshop
These courses will be held April 23-25. Classes begin Friday, April 23, with an evening Meet ‘N’ Greet in the pavilion. Check in from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday classes will be from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, classes are from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A public open house to view student work will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. A continental breakfast will be provided at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A 1-hour lunch break will be proved each day; lunch will be available for $10. Lunch menus available online by April 1st.
