PThe Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria will be holding its inaugural ALIPRO Snag & Brag Fishing Tournament on Sunday, June 6th. Eight to ten teams consisting of four anglers each will begin fishing at 6:00 a.m. in various locations throughout Central Illinois. Teams are sponsored by local businesses and individuals supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs tutoring and mentoring programs.

After a day of fishing, teams will return to Kelleher’s Irish Pub and Eatery on Water Street for a final weigh-in at 4:00 p.m. The weigh-in will be followed by a fish fry open to the public.

Tickets are $10 for adults and children 10 and younger are free. There will also be an auction/raffle through-out the day. All proceeds from this event benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

Awards will be given for first and second place to the teams and/or individuals for Heaviest

Total Weight, Largest Bass and Most Amount of Pledge Money raised.
