The Peoria Chapter of the National Organization for Women will celebrate Women’s Equality Day with a potluck for members and friends on Saturday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m. at Forest Park Nature Center in Peoria Heights.

On August 26, 1920, women in the United States won the Constitutional right to vote when the 19th amendment was added to the U.S. Constitution.
