There are many people and organizations in Peoria that work to make our communities better, including a host of dedicated non-profit organizations that are focused on addressing a myriad of challenges faced by our citizens.  And it is important to remember that these non-profit organizations would not be as successful if they did not have a tremendous amount of support from the business community.

To recognize the contributions from local businesses I am re-launching my “Good Neighbor” Business Award of the Year into a monthly award.  Businesses help our non-profit agencies on a daily basis from donating goods and services to providing volunteers and financial support.  We cannot forget the invaluable contributions that are made every day by the business community.
