The Children’s Home, with funding from Heart of Illinois United Way, can now provide a new toll free help line. This Line of Hope is for adolescents and adults who are dealing with mental illness or thoughts of suicide. Calls will be answered by caring and trained professionals who will give confidential support and referrals to help. Call 1-855-837-HOPE.

This line is fully operation and is for anyone living in Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Stark, Marshall, and Putnam counties.

Mental disorders can result in a profound burden of illness causing suffering, disability, hospitalization and suicide.
