Bradley University is once again considered one of the best higher education institutions in the country, according to The Princeton Review, which features the university in the newly released 2013 college guide, “The Best 377 Colleges.”

“We are pleased that a highly respected, independent national publication recognizes Bradley for the academic excellence, experiential learning and leadership development that we provide our students,” said Bradley President Joanne Glasser. “This is further evidence that Bradley is moving toward becoming a school of national distinction.”

The Princeton Review profile ranked Bradley’s athletic facilities among the top 20 in the nation. The Markin Family Student Recreation Center opened in the fall of 2008, providing students with a large, modern physical fitness facility. The Renaissance Coliseum was completed in the fall of 2010, adding competition, practice and training facilities for intercollegiate athletic teams.

Earlier this year Bradley earned an honorable mention on the Princeton Review’s list of the best undergraduate video game design programs in the nation and Canada. Bradley was selected from 150 institutions that offer video game design coursework and/or degrees. In 2011, Bradley was highlighted by the magazine for having one of the top 20 entrepreneurship programs in the nation.

The profile includes praise from one recent graduate, “While Bradley offers the academic choices of a larger university; it also provides students the guidance and mentoring of faculty that only a smaller university can provide.”

The Princeton Review has consistently ranked Bradley as one of the top universities in the nation. Only 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges and three colleges outside the U.S.A. are included in the guide. Detailed profiles of the colleges are based on opinions from independent college counselors, students and parents, and school visits.

Bradley also received recognition this week in Forbes Magazine’s “America’s Top Colleges 2012.”
