Center Marls 10 Years of Service at Open House

The Salvation Army Sylvia Fites Family Service Center held an Open House and Tenth Anniversary Ceremony on Thursday afternoon, September 27. The Sylvia Fites Family Service Center is located in downtown Peoria, at 416 NE Jefferson, adjacent to Labor Temple. The Open House was from 4:00- 6:00 p.m., with a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held at 4:00 and comments from dignitaries including former Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Don Fites, who along with his wife Sylvia were major benefactors in the capital campaign that brought the building to life in 2002.
