The office building of our main WiredTree support offices will be undergoing fire safety system upgrades and the main power to our building is going to be shut off to undergo this planned maintenance. As a result, our support offices will have limited or no power during the estimated hours of 10:30AM – 6:30PM CST Thursday, January 10th, 2013. We have tried to work with the City of Chicago and ComEd to schedule a more convenient time, but we are locked into the stated time frame and there is nothing we can do to prevent this maintenance from happening during US business hours. If the stated time frame needs to be extended, we will notify you through email, the Grove, Twitter and Facebook.
This office power maintenance will *not* impact your servers as our main Chicago Datacenter is not apart of our main support offices and it is not undergoing power maintenance. During the maintenance window, our most of our support staff will be relocated within temporary offices at our Datacenter space which is a block and a half away from our main support office here in downtown Chicago. The only expected impact from this outage is longer than normal phone wait times and limited support over the phone. To ensure the fastest possible support experience during this event, we encourage all of our customers to submit tickets directly through our Grove client portal (https://grove.wiredtree.com/) and limit phone contact for emergencies only. This will ensure your support issues are handled as quickly as possible.
Upon completion of the planned maintenance, our support teams will promptly be moved back to our main support office and regular phone service will resume. We are sorry for any troubles that this planned maintenance may cause you and thank you for being such a valued customer.
Thank you!
WiredTree Support
