Harold Gregor, considered one of the leading painters of the American heartland, works here on one of his large canvases. At one time, Gregor was the only living artist with work on the main floor of the White House. “Changing Perspectives: The Landscapes of Harold Gregor” will be in the Folk Art Gallery at Peoria Riverfront Museum July 16 through Oct. 16. The exhibit includes pieces from each period of Gregor’s work from realistic landscapes to flatscapes, colorscapes, a trail series and vibrascapes.
