Distinctive creations by the late Brian Kjellenberg are on exhibit now through April 8 in the Hartmann Gallery at Bradley University. Titled “Playful Nostalgia,” the show by the award-winning area artist, who worked with students at BU’s Sculpture Lab, features sculptures, paintings, and hand-made metal toys.

PBS NewsHour has scheduled a Feb. 24 broadcast about “medical racism,” focusing on five stories about COVID-19 vaccination skepticism by Americans of color.
THEATER
“The SpongeBob Musical” is set for the stage at Peoria Players Theater starting Feb. 4, with Caleb Dean Johnson in the title role and original music composed by the Flaming Lips, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, among others. The show is set to run Feb. 4-5 and 9-13.
