- “Harvey” by Chillicothe Players Theatre opens April 3 at the Shore Acres Clubhouse.
- “John Proctor is the Villain” is set to be presented April 9-13 at Bradley University’s Meyer Jacobs Theatre.
- The Illinois Central College Theatre program presents “Almost, Maine” — a series of nine vignettes about love, friendship and isolation — at the Performing Arts Center on April 16.
MUSIC
- The inimitable (if not complete unknown) Bob Dylan returns to Peoria on April 9, bringing his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour to the Peoria Civic Center’s Prairie Home Alliance Theater.
- Tambora performs April 11 and Nathan Taylor & Friends on April 25 at the Contemporary Art Center for “Live at the Five Spot.”
- Peoria Symphony Orchestra presents “Inspired Journeys” on April 11 at the Peoria Civic Center’s Prairie Home Alliance Theater.
- Bradley University’s Symphony Orchestra, Community Choir and Chorale Concert will be at BU’s Dingeldine Music Center on April 12.
DANCE
- Peoria Ballet Company stages “Coppelia 2025,” a charming and funny ballet about a mysterious inventor, April 12-13 at Five Points Washington.
SPECIAL EVENTS
- Inspired by “Bridgerton,” Wildlife Prairie Park is presenting “Diamond of the Season Ball” at locations throughout the park, including a tea party, a formal dinner, “era-appropriate music” and ballroom dancing on April 5.
