THEATRE

  • Corn Stock Theatre’s run of “West Side Story” will wrap up June 3-6 at Bradley University’s Hartmann Center.
  • Arc Light Productions is staging “A Shot Rang Out” at Limestone Community High School in Bartonville this June 5-6.
  • Corn Stock is planning to stage the classic comedy “The Odd Couple” June 19-21 and 24-27 at the CST Lab Theatre Center in Upper Bradley Park.
  • “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” will be staged at Eastlight Theatre June 19-27.
  • Arc Light Productions returns to its usual venue at Illini Bluffs High School in Glasford on June 19-20, when its youth program will be featured in a 6 p.m. double feature (“Belle and That Beast Guy” and “Supervillains Anonymous”), followed by a 7:30 presentation of “It’s A Madhouse.”

COMEDY

  • “Lucy Darling: You’re Welcome” features performer Carisa Hendrix’ character and her comedy and magic at the Civic Center Theatre on June 20.

DANCE

  • Kim’s Academy of Dance presents “Bright Lights, Big City” at the Civic Center Theatre on June 5 and 7.
  • Argentine Tango Practica is happening at the Contemporary Art Center June 7, 14, 21 and 28.
  • A Taste of Ireland Company presents “A Taste of Ireland — The Irish Music & Dance Sensation” at the Civic Center Theatre on June 18.

MUSIC

  • The Bach Festival returns June 1-5 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with noon concerts June 1, 3, 4 and 5, 7:30 p.m. concerts June 2 and 5, and the June 5 performance will be preceded by a 6:45 p.m. lecture
  • Backseat Radio and DJ Birds of Paradise will play June 5 at the CEFCU Center Stage at the Landing.
  • Revel in Red and Emperors & Angels perform at CEFCU Center Stage on June 12.
  • The Texas Tenors perform at Five Points Washington on June 19.
  • The Central Illinois Jazz Society is presenting the Dan Burke Dixieland Band on June 21 at the Trailside Event Center.
  • Union Avenue will be Live at the Five Spot on June 26 at the Contemporary Art Center.

  • Peoria Art Guild is hosting a four-week “Intro to Letterpress Print” class beginning June 4.
  • The Contemporary Art Center of Peoria is hosting “Beginning Tapestry Weaving” June 6.
  • “Art at the Bodega” in Washington has three three-day summer-morning camps this month: “Color Explosion” starting June 9, “Imaginary Worlds” starting June 16, and “Art Lab” starting June 23.
  • The Clay Den is hosting “To-Go Cup Hand Building Class” June 12.
