A Mother’s Day Celebration Dinner Concert will be held at the Ashland House Ballroom in Morton on Saturday, May 7 featuring the music of well-known Christian singer Rachel West Kramer, who will be joined by special guests Reggie and Ladye Love Smith. The Smiths are from Nashville and have performed their blend of gospel, country, big band and contemporary Christian music in 12 countries and throughout the United States.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. There is a discount of $5 off per person for groups of eight or more. For reservations for the Mother’s Day Celebration, call Hands of Love Ministry at 309-383-2828.

A second opportunity celebrate Mother’s Day is the RiverLife Mother’s Day Dinner Cruise to be held the next day, on Sunday, May 8.  Reggie and Ladye Love Smith will be the featured artists for that performance. The event includes dinner and the concert while cruising on the Illinois River on the Spirit of Peoria.
