July 8 – 19 – 6th Annual Springer Cup – at Kellogg Golf Course & Learning Center, 7716 N. Radnor Rd. Call 630-466-0913. The Kids Golf Foundation will be hosting the 6th Annual Springer Cup. This event is an educational weekend intended to help sites understand what the tour professionals experience during match play tournaments. There are three days of activities in which teams will learn and participate in new formats of play, team building and educational activity.
July 9 – Peoria’s nonprofit Apollo Theater will feature a “drive-in double feature” includes 1956’s “The Girl Can’t Help It” and 1958’s “The Blob.” Show times at the Apollo are at 7:00 p.m. Donations are $5 and $4 for kids, students and seniors. For details call (309) 673-4343.

July 21, 22, 23 — The Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria will hold our annual Rummage Sale in the air conditioned church building at 3000 W Richwoods Blvd . The sale will begin on Thursday at 12:00 noon and end at 7:00 p.m.. On Friday and Saturday, the sale will continue from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Everything will be ½ price on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and $2.00 per bag on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
