Two incumbent trustees were sworn in and seated at the regular meeting of the Peoria Park District Board of Trustees on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Re-elected as a Northern District seat at the April 9, 2013 election was MATTHEW P. RYAN. ROBERT L. JOHNSON, SR. was re-elected as Southern District Trustee.

Matthew Ryan, starting his third term on the Board of Trustees, serves on the Peoria Zoo Operating Committee and the Springdale Cemetery Management Authority.

Robert L. Johnson, Sr., starting his fifth term on the Board of Trustees, serves as Chairman of the Planning Committee, and Vice Chair of Finance Committee and is a member of the RiverFront Program & Policy Advisory Committee.
