The Western Avenue Greenway borders West Peoria on the opposite side of Western Avenue from Main Street through Calendar Avenue. It is a privately-owned and operated park that is maintained by members and is funded by various fund raisers and donations. Recently Big Ray’s Express Oil Change has picked up garbage and debris that accumulates on the Greenway. The Greenway board is deeply appreciative of these efforts. If you walk through the Greenway and see trash, please pick it up.
