WTVP-TV 47 named former ArtsPartners executive director Jenn Gordon as the public television station’s new CEO on March 21. She pledged a “season of transparency from inside out (to) make sure the community has a voice. We need people to tell us their thoughts.”

Set to start on April 22, Gordon was one of three central Illinois finalists out of about 70 applicants, according to WTVP board chair John Wieland, who said a search committee of three board members had eight criteria, including nonprofit experience, a background of fiscal responsibilities and community engagement.

The board voted unanimously to approve the committee’s recommendation.
