Wellness Fair in Peoria Heights on October 22nd

Advocates for Access and The Peoria Heights Suburban Lion’s Club announce their first ever “Wellness Fair” on Wednesday, October 22nd from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Square Courtyard at 4450 N. Prospect Rd. This event will incorporate a broad spectrum of health and wellness services available in the Peoria area. Local exhibitors will showcase their business or agency by providing a range of free health and wellness tests and screenings.

Some of the complimentary screenings include: free hearing tests in the Lion’s Club Hearing Van, free glucose testing by Proctor Hospital, free blood pressure checks by Washington Christian Village, grip strength and body composition tests by IPMR, and spinal screenings by Tuttle Chiropractic. Attendees may also pick up an application for a free amplified phone and test the phones at Advocates for Access.

Alwan & Sons Meat Co. will provide your choice of hot dog or brats with chips and a drink for $3.

Music from the Peoria Heights Dist. 425 Chorus and local jazz band “Tuesday Jam,” will be between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There will be door prizes every half hour. Winners must be present to win. Call 682-3500 or 635-7755 with questions.
