There are water woes in many ways this weekend. For about 3000 homeowners in Peoria, Friday’s flooding rains left them dry for much of the day.

Illinois American officials say the heavy rain ended up busting a 24-inch water main behind an Apartment Complex off Loire Court. That’s near Knoxville and Mt. Hawley Country Club.

The Water Company has been able to get water flowing again. Illinois American says homeowners impacted should be getting a call notifying them about the current boil order, which could last up to 36 hours.

Most of the homes impacted are near Knoxville between Alta Road and Northmoor.

Here are the specific locations given by Illinois American Officials:

-The eastern boil order boundary is from the 6100 block of N. Knoxville,
north to 10225 N. Knoxville.

-The northern boil order boundary is Alta Rd, from Allen Rd. east to N.
Knoxville.

-The western boil order boundary is from the 10300 N. Allen Rd. south to 6100 N. Allen Rd.

-The southern boil order boundary is on Northmoor Rd. from Allen Rd. east to N. Knoxville Rd.
