The second Project Pack the Place event (part of the I’m Stepping Up campaign) is this Sunday July 25th at Wildlife Prairie State Park. We have over 250 participants thanks to nearly a dozen local businesses that purchased blocks of tickets for the event. The media is invited to stop by the park between 11-1 Sunday and talk with Project Pack the Place participants and park officials.

Project Pack the Place was designed to increase community vibrancy of the Peoria Metro Region and help generate enthusiasm for the great entertainment venues of our region. This area has so many great entertainment options, and this project is one way to showcase them. By encouraging regional residents to attend these events, we are helping to boost the regional economy and giving people in this region a way to “Step Up in 2010”.
