The Illinois Kidney Disease & Hypertension Center is proud to announce that Robert T. Sparrow, M.D., has been designated a Fellow of the American Society of Hypertension, making him one of only about 100 physicians with this designation worldwide.
Awarded by the American Society of Hypertension, this distinction is only conferred on physicians who have distinguished themselves through excellence in their profession, scientific and clinical achievements, scholarship and significant contributions to the Society in the fields of hypertension, cardiovascular and kidney health. These physicians must also excel and lead efforts in controlling high blood pressure.
Dr. Sparrow is a highly skilled nephrologist and Certified Specialist in Clinical Hypertension, who sees patients at the Illinois Kidney Disease & Hypertension Center. Dr. Sparrow is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
