28TH ANNUAL ROD & CUSTOM AUTO, MOTORCYCLE AND PRODUCT SHOW OPENS THIS FRIDAY.

Torguefest will be kicking off this weekend with the 28 annual Rod and Custom show that starts Friday. The show is presented by several local businesses.

There will be live music, as well as a second building this year. Also, Dwyer and Michaels from WXLP Radio will be the 2011 Hot Rod calendar. The cars in the calendar will be on display.

Tickets are six dollars, and for kids six-years-old and younger, tickets are free. Tickets can be purchased for five dollars at participating Hy-Vee stores.

Also, Friday is Military day. All military personnel that show their military ID will receive free admission.
