The company was owned and operated by Toni and Larry McWherter and has been in business for the past 53 years. The addition of Guard Services, Inc. gives Per Mar Security Services a strong presence in the Central Illinois market, and compliments its established operations in Illinois. Larry Turner, who came over from Guard Services, is now the Peoria Physical Security Operations Manager and will oversee the transition. He will ensure that exceptional service continues to be provided to Guard Services’ former customer base. Those services include security officer and mobile patrol services as well as alarm response and special event venues.
